- An events organiser is livid after he paid Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha R80 000 for a performance but they failed to pitch
- The shindig was scheduled over the new years holiday and the two lovebirds had overbooked themselves
- The organiser is yet to receive his money back
Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha allegedly owe an events organiser R80 000 after they failed to pitch for a scheduled performance.
The organiser has been struggling to collect his money since the new year holidays.
Sunday World reported that the angry Ladysmith businessman is gatvol with the pair's shenanigans.
He said, "I've had enough of Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha. They failed to prioritise our event yet we paid them in full. We even agreed that since they claimed that they had too many gigs on that night, we agreed that they can come and perform early, around 6 PM on that day".
The organiser said Mampintsha called to ask that they be moved to a 2 AM performance and thereafter stopped responding to calls, WhatsApps and SMSs.
The organiser now says he wants his money back and won't work with Mampintsha or Babes in future.
Briefly.co.za reported that the couple was booted off stage during a December show last year.
There was more scandal to be revealed on their Moja Love docu-series, but they managed to convince the High Court to stop the show from airing.
