A couple has gone viral after they were filmed making a statement at the Polokwane Municipality.
On Monday, Polokwane Review shared a video on YouTube showing a couple carrying 20-litre buckets containing sewage into the Polokwane Municipality.
The couple - who the publication identified as Harry Makobane and his partner, Lishen - dumped the sewage in the rates hall.
According to The Citizen, they had been complaining to the municipality for two months and grew tired of waiting to be helped.
The video was shared on several YouTube channels and a couple of South Africans applauded the couple.
Poelo Mokgotho commented:
"Serves them right."
Ouma Mahlodi Bendlela wrote:
"We must do the same as a group."
