The EFF released a detailed pamphlet on why it is demanding Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhanbe fired.
Briefly.co.za reported that the EFF had vowed to disrupt the State of the Nation Address if President Cyril Ramaphosa failed to adhere to their demands.
Despite the National Prosecuting Authority opting out of pursuing charges, one of the reasons listed by the EFF includes the establishment of the SARS 'rogue unit'.
Gordhan's approval of former SARS deputy commissioner Ivan Pillay is also raised as a point by the party.

South African Airways' current situation is another excuse for the minister's axing, with the EFF claiming he pushed the state-owned entity in order to allow for privatisation:
"Pravin is at the forefront of looting state assets, and this will be done through privatisation of Eskom, Denel, Transnet and SAA."
Gordhan is accused of purging black executives from South Africa's fleet of SOEs. The minister is slammed for 'employing white minorities' who allegedly failed to run complex entities successfully.
