- Local funnyman Skhumba Hlophe didn't let the criticism from an online troll rain on his parade
- When the tweep claimed that he wasn't funny, he didn't get angry, he got even in a polite manner
- Skhumba pointed out that he had sold out his one-man shows and listed his other achievements
Comedy is sometimes up for debate - what one person finds funny could be silly and tasteless to another.
But many comedians find the right balance and manages to tickle everyone's funnybones, much like Skhumba Hlophe.
Skhumba is one of Mzansi's most successful comedians but he recently found himself trending after someone claimed he's not funny.
Skhumba showed that he doesn't really care what people think but did list all his latest achievements, just for control.
According to TimesLIVE, Skhumba said:
“I've done five one-man shows which were sold out countrywide. I have two television shows, Tripping with Skhumba, a radio show at Kaya FM, Throwback Thursday and got many awards.
"What I know about myself is that I'm good at what I do and don't need people's opinions. In the past five years in the whole country who bought disabled children more than 500 wheelchairs? I didn't trend for that but now I trend that my jokes are not funny?"
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za noticed that the comedian's fans still love him very much. They think he is hilarious and in the end, that's all that matters.
