President Cyril Ramaphosa is hosting the Presidential Golf Challenge on Friday and he teamed up with eight-year-old golfing prodigy, Simthandile "SimTiger" Tshabalala.
The head of state chose a very young but talented partner for the Presidential Gold Challenge.
Taking to social media, the Presidency shared adorable photos of Ramaphosa and his Grade 3 golf partner, Simthandile "SimTiger" Tshabalala.
The post read:
"President @CyrilRamaphosa welcomes his playing partner, eight-year-old Grade 3 learner Simthandile "SimTiger" Tshabalala, to the 2020 Presidential Golf Challenge taking place in Cape Town this morning. The President delivered his #SONA2020 in Parliament yesterday."
The head of state is giving young South Africans the opportunity to get to know him. Briefly.co.za previously reported a Grade 11 learner helped the head of state with his SONA speech.
Sinoyolo Qumba, a 17-year-old learner, met with Ramaphosa on Wednesday to assist with his speech. Qumba received a special invite to join the speech-writing team after Ramaphosa read a letter that she addressed to him.
