Caster Semenya does it again and sets a new national 300m record

South Africa's fastest female athlete has returned to the track and reminded Mzansi why she is the best by setting a new national record for the 300m event.

Semenya has achieved the fastest times for the 300m, 400m, 600m, 800 and 1 500m distances.

This was the first time that she has competed in 7 months and was her first race after separating from her coach Samuel Sepeng.

She missed her chance to compete in Doha, Qatar in October 2018 because of her disagreement with the world athletics governing body.

The IAAF had created new regulations which restricted female athletes from competing in the 400m, 800m, and 1500m events if their testosterone levels were too high.
