Tito Mboweni was on the defensive after getting roasted for his State of the Nation Address outfit. Mzansi thought it was hilarious when his clap back pics did nothing to make the suit more attractive.
Mzansi folks have eagle eyes and evidently someone wasn't impressed with Tito Mboweni's State of the Nation Address outfit.
The Finance Minister attempted to defend himself from the fashion police by sharing some snaps, commenting:
"See the difference? Eish! Our people."
But not many saw the difference Mboweni attempted to draw their attention to and the response had people in stitches.
The salty politician then went on to throw some shade at Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula's outfit for the Presidential Golf Challenge:
"Talk of taking colors to a new height! Comment reserved."
But people weren't going to let the frugal Finance Minister get away with his questionable taste in fashion.
Briefly.co.za reported that the politician had earned himself a reputation for worn-in shoes, with it becoming something of an internet sensation.
