Panyaza Lesufi is a man of action in a time where people like the Gauteng MEC of Education are hard to come by.

The province has been going through a difficult start to the school year and Lesufi has been doing the most to ensure he is leading the way to recovery.

Sandile Skhosana, an attorney from Secunda, told Briefly.co.za that he had the shirt made in recognition of the MEC's hard work:

"I had the T-shirt made specifically in recognition of his hard work. I am inspired by his work ethic. Strangely, he is in Gauteng and I’m in Mpumalanga but I don’t know who the M.E.C. for Education in my Province is. I wish he were a Minister at a national level. Whenever there is a crisis at school, it will be reported that “MEC Lesufi is on the way to the school”. That message is the motivation and reason behind the T-shirt."

The response to the situation has highlighted the respect and love citizens have for this politician and his dedication to his students.

Briefly.co.za reported that citizens had been up in arms when the state had attempted to deploy Lesufi to another department.

The government had been left with no choice but to return him to his post, another clear sign the MEC is made for the task at hand.
