Floyd Mayweather has slammed 50 Cent after the American rapper claimed the undefeated boxer has gone broke.
The Money Man took to social media to post a photo of his shoe closet in response to his former friend, whose real name is Curtis Jackson.
"This is just my shoe closet part 1," Mayweather said on his Instagram handle.
50 Cent and Mayweather used to be good friends until they fell out publicly and their relationship turned sour.
The multi-platinum-selling rapper told Hot 97 recently: "I think he got to [fight] right now because the money's gone.
"It's fight, get the money, spend the money, fight. With the lifestyle that money's gone. Trust me.
"Now it's like if you call him he'll be at your local nightclub because he needs that action right now."
After going undefeated in 49 fights, the 42-year-old returned into the ring to face UFC star Conor McGregor to earn his 50th win in combat sports.
Mayweather returned to the ring a year later in 2018 against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasuwaka in a showpiece fight, which he also won.
50 Cent has been given the credit for persuading UFC President Dana White to book Mayweather's headline fight with Conor.
"I felt the demand for Conor and Mayweather, felt it, I knew it would be big, so we started talking.
"I bumped into 50 Cent, and he said, 'Floyd wants to fight your boy.' I said, 'My boy who?' " Dana White revealed back in January.
