A young man shared a touching photo and inspirational message that went viral via social media.

Via the Tee Parts Facebook page, he shared the below message:

"I hold my mother like she held me when I was a baby. I would do everything for her because she did everything for me. May God Bless all moms. Amen."

The post was accompanied with a tear-jerking photo of him holding his frail mother.

Based on the photo, Briefly.co.za gathered that it must be an extremely challenging time in their lives.

However, the man's selfless attitude and dedication to his mother, struck a chord with Facebook users.

After being shared on Sunday, the post has garnered more than 1 000 likes and hundreds of positive comments.
