Ja'Net DuBois, who played the character of Willona Woods on the hit show Good Times, has died.
DuBois' passing at 74 years old was today confirmed by multiple sources.
Superstar singer, Janet Jackson, penned a heartfelt tribute to Ja'Net.
The two performers starred alongside each other on the popular 70's sitcom, Good Times.
Janet wrote, "I am so saddened to hear my longtime friend, Ja'Net DuBois, has passed away. I saw first-hand how she broke stereotypes and changed the landscape for black women in entertainment.
"I'm grateful in years I had a chance to see her and create more lasting memories. I pray for comfort for all her family and friends. Thank you Ja'Net, I'll miss you."
Condolences poured in for the legendary actress on social media.
