Ghanaian long and triple jumper, Deborah Acquah, has set a new indoor triple jump national record with a 13.77m jump at the Charlie Thomas Invitational meet in College Station, Texas.
According to Citisportsonline.com, the 23-year-old lady broke the standing record of Nadia Eke which was set on 14 January 2017.
The groundbreaking feat has been chalked just 17 days after the African Games silver medallist in the long jump broke the indoor national record in the long jump with a 6.57m mark at the Ted Nelson Invitational in Texas.
With the latest achievement, Deborah now holds both Ghana’s indoor long and triple jump records, which is an extraordinary achievement.
