South Africans comfort grieving father who lost his daughter

Losing a child is one of the worst things that can happen to a person. A grieving father recently took to social media to remember his late child. The heartbreaking picture he posted left many in tears and others offering words of comfort.

Twitter user SangoTanze shared the picture of his daughter's coffin on social media. Many were overwhelmed with sadness and sympathy for the man. Others shared their own similar stories of losing their children in a very somber thread. He concluded his post with:

"Always in my heart."

Twitter user Buhle_Nolls said:

"This just reminded me of the time when we buried my friend's son (infant), I have never felt so traumatised in my life, this is the most painful a parent has to go through, I pray that you find healing my brother."

"We buried my aunt’s two-month-old baby last month and it was one of the most confusing things I ever experienced. It’s so heartbreaking to see that."
