- Swedish fashion designer Beate Karlsson's tuned Kim K's butt into a buyable fashion item
- A silicone mould of Kim's bum has been turned into designer shorts that retail at around R9k
- People are going mad for the shorts - everybody wants Kim's booty
Beate Karlsson, a Swedish fashion designer had three designers join her in creating silicone shorts. Beate has come up with the concept called ‘The Bum’ and it is designed as a replica of Kim Kardashian’s bottom.
In the eyes of many, Kim Kardashian was blessed with what we would call, an almost perfect body. Her tiny waist, hips that are perfect and a bum to die for. All those that look at Kim with envy, will now be able to acquire that perfect butt without having to go through the pain of plastic surgery.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Simon Saarinen, one of the designers, spoke to the New York Post. He said that the shorts would allow people, not only to experience the pleasure of having Kim’s butt but to have the pleasure without having to undergo surgery or implants, which are at times dangerous.
Saarinen went on to say that so many are wanting to have a butt like Kim’s and are willing to take the chance on what could be a dangerous operation. He also said that her bottom is more than likely the most talked-about and recognized symbols to originate from Instagram.
Ida Jonsson, the other designer, had a different opinion saying that ‘The Bum’ can be seen as a celebration of Kim Kardashian. Ida went on to say that to think a woman was able to create a multimillion-dollar brand, and it was all based on her butt. That in its self should be celebrated.
The designers shared that the shorts will be made of a mix of silicone, spandex and microfiber. The weight of the exciting new shorts will be 2,72 kgs. The cost may be a little expensive in some people’s views as it will retail between R6 700 and R8 900.
