Cassper Nyovest got scammed by construction guy about a month ago. Not even the superstar is immune to being conned by shady businesspeople.

The rapper took to Twitter to complain that a guy who was doing construction at his studio ran off with his money.

But that didn't deter Mufasa, and he went on to find someone else who he could trust to continue the work.

A fan asked how things were looking now, and he answered:

"Coming together very well, got a new constructor. We having a lil challenge with funds cause the other broer stole the money and ran. Eish. Mara, it's getting there."

Not even a sneaky scam will keep the muso from having his studio.

It's not clear what the studio looks like now, but Cassper shared a photo of the work in progress earlier.

In other Cassper news, the musician and his close friend of 20 years, Carpo, have the kind of friendship that fans look up to.

Often, the pair's antics have peeps laughing out loud as they get up to silliness and show the kind of relationship they have.

Cassper shared a video of them taking on his #GoodForThatChallenge and it was - as expected - very funny and entertaining. While Cassper seemed to be doing alright, there were a couple of times where Carpo looked like he was about to fall into the water behind him.

His dance moves were hilarious too.
