Briefly.co.za learned that she took to social media to vent her concerns about raising a daughter in a dangerous society.
On Twitter at the weekend, she said: “I pray so much over my daughter. I pray she lives a fulfilled life, that she may never know great sorrow or hurt ...May she keep her health and limbs. Bringing life into this cruel world is constant [prayer],” she wrote.

Mbota worries are compounded by the fact that she does not have much faith in the justice system in South Africa according to the sowetanlive.co.za.

According to Linda, she handled the whole thing like a 'winner'.
"I had such a fun weekend truly feeling like I’m finding a balance between being a mom & being “ME”. I did have moments where I wanted to cry cause I missed her so much (first time leaving her overnight & being in a different province), I cried on the inside like a winner."
