A huge crowd of Jacob Zuma supporters welcomed him home when he arrived in South Africa. The walls of OR. Tambo echoed with the cheers and singing of the crowd.

The former president had spent time in Cuba where he received medical treatment, according to The Citizen.

One of the many happy people was Carl Niehaus, a very vocal supporter of Zuma.

It is no secret that Niehaus is a fan of Zuma. Briefly.co.za reported earlier that he had called on South Africa to give Msholozi a warm welcome.

He asked supporters to come out en masse to make sure Zuma knows he had been missed.

"Let us gather in our thousands to welcome Msholozi back home."

While the Gauteng Radical Economic Transformation President Zuma Support Group member couldn't confirm exact numbers, Niehaus said he expects a big crowd - he was right.

Niehaus shared photos of him and a rather tired-looking Zuma, and he was smiling like he won a jackpot.
