Fellow entertainment business buddies took to social media to congratulate Mpho on the new gig and let Power FM know what an incredible asset they just acquired.

Mpho’s going to rock it as a radio host!

In other news, towards the end of 2019, Mpho had to publicly apologise for a video that she shared on social media.

The video was seen as very offensive by fellow South Africans and Mpho deleted it soon after the share.

In the video, a character named Jesus is informed that he is not God's son, but in fact a descendent of the Shangaan people. The character then tries to wash off the 'Shangaaness' and attempts to hang himself.
