If ever there was any doubt as to who Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane would be supporting in the huge Soweto Derby this weekend, that would have been erased now.
Mosimane threw his weight behind the Buccaneers and called on Sundowns supporters to follow suit.
The Brazilians have somehow managed to reduce a ten-point margin down to a meagre four points, as Chiefs have stumbled since the festive season.
KickOFF.com reported that Mosimane feels football followers should back the Sea Robbers in a bid to make the title race even more exciting.
Mosimane said, "When we played Celtic, did you see the Chiefs fans at Loftus? They came in numbers [to support Celtic]. When we played Chippa, they came in big numbers."
The Downs tactician will be hoping that Pirates avenge their two previous losses to Chiefs this season.
He added, "Probably Masandawana must go and join the Buccaneers there."
Previously Briefly.co.za reported on Mosimane's stance on the contest.
The veteran coach revealed that he looks forward to the battle of the German coaches as the experienced Ernst Middendorp faces off against his younger countryman.
