Kwesta celebrates 4 years since release of diamond album 'DaKAR II'

- The rapper hopped onto Instagam to ask his followers to pick their favourite track off the critically-acclaimed album

Kwesta celebrated four years since he released his critically-acclaimed third studio album yesterday.

DaKAR II was released on 26 February, 2016 and it went diamond.

Kwesta has said that DaKAR is an acronym for 'Da King of Afrikan Rap'.

Kwesta asked his Instagram followers to pick their favourite track off of the album.

The responses were varied with some saying Nomayini, while others opted for Ngiyaz'fela Ngawe.

Kwesta was thrilled when DaKAR II went diamond two months ago.

It sold more than 310 000 album copies and to become the highest-selling hip-hop album in the history of Mzansi hip-hop.

Several hit singles from the album, including Ngiyazfela and Ngud’, helped propel it to this amazing level.
