American rapper, Nicki Minaj, is apologizing for a spat her husband encountered during the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival festivities.

Born in Saint James, Port of Spain, Nicki is a native to the area. The rapper returned to the country she was born in to participate in the festival. Dressed in a teal costume, Nicki waved to her fans from a parade truck.

Briefly.co.za learnt that she was accompanied by her husband, Kenneth Petty, who was at her side. Iwer George, a Trinidad and Tobago artist, was performing not too far from the couple.
