Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Pearl's bestie, DJ Zinhle, was so excited about the upcoming premiere and debut that she declared the day 'Pearl Thusi Day'.
It was a beautiful way to show her friend that she's proud of her and reminded fans why these two are #friendshipgoals.
To honour Pearl's work in the show, Cosmopolitan magazine published a special Netflix edition and she looked beyond stunning.
It was the magazine's first edition of this kind and it was only fitting to have the Queen Sono star on the front page.
Fans don't have long to wait for Queen Sono to finally be aired - it will soon be available on Netflix.
The six-episode series also features some of Mzansi's most popular stars. The series was also shot locally, in some of SA's popular spots such as Johannesburg CBD, Sandton and Soweto.
Check out this bonus video with some of the biggest female stars in SA (including Pearl) talking about how they feel about Queen Sono.
