Boity Thulo is known for being very nice and kind to her fans in general, but her reaction to a social media post disappointed many peeps.

The reaction to Boity's reaction was so intense that the entertainer started to trend on Twitter as thousands of peeps got involved.

It all started when a young lady tagged the star and said:

"Somebody tag @Boity... My friends say I remind them of her."

Boity reacted by asking 'Via?' to get some clarification on how the woman reminds people of her. At first glance, there are no discernable similarities so that's likely why Boity reacted the way she did.

However, many peeps felt that this response was rude and mean - they feel Boity threw a compliment back at the young woman who was glowing with 'own your throne' vibes.

Briefly.co.za noticed that one social media user, Ziaphora, said:

"This is mean. We can pretend it isn’t, but it is. The girl is striking her bossb*tch pose, looking all kinds of confident and her caption is that she reminds people of you. How flattering is that? Very sweet. Why throw it in her face and throw her to the Twitter wolves Boity? Ya neh."

Soon, many similar opinions were shared in the timeline. Although not everyone took the matter so seriously, others were very offended.
