According to SuperSport, the show will be borrowing from its Super Saturday predecessor, it will dip into the sporting zeitgeist and talk about what’s been and what is to come in the sports world. Running the ship will be popular Neil Andrews, who will bring his wit and wisdom to the studio and no doubt set the tone with his light-hearted style.
“SuperSport broadcasts such stellar live sport every weekend and ‘The Weekender’ will remind our subscribers what not to miss when and why,” said Andrews. “It’s a fresh new look that intends to inform and entertain viewers while celebrating our incredible offering of unmissable live sport.”
