- But for the record, AKA was successful on his second attempt, the Rustenburg crowd believe in him after all
AKA suffered another epic fail at crowd surfing during his Rustenburg performance over the weekend.
But to many fans' surprise, Supa Mega put his ego aside and admitted that his attempt was rather funny.
Briefly.co.za reported that AKA was hyped up when he performed over the weekend and in his excitement, he thought it would be a good idea to try and crowd surf.
It wasn't a good idea though - people were having a blast and their hands were occupied with phones recording the performance and their drinks.
There weren't any hands freely available to catch the musician and he fell to the ground, perhaps bruising more than just his ego.
A fan took to Twitter to post the moemish and AKA joined in the fun and literally laughed at himself.
After the video went viral on Twitter, fans think he should just retire his crowd-surfing tactics once and for all.
But he had to set the record straight, AKA told Twitter that he did give it another try and was successful.
“To be fair, I got back on stage and did it again. This time they caught me and everyone was happy and stuff,” he replied to a fan.
