It is indeed a joyful period in the life of United Kingdom (UK) prime minister, Boris Johnson, following a recent announcement he made as it regards his personal life.
The politician made it known on that he and his girlfriend Carry Symonds, are expecting their first child together, Time reports.
As if that was not enough, Johnson also made it known that he and his woman are engaged and set to get married.
The 55-year-old prime minister and his 31-year-old girlfriend, made history as the first unmarried couple to openly live together at the British prime minister’s official London residence when they moved in last year.
A spokesperson for the lovers was quoted to have said: "The Prime Minister and Miss Symonds are very pleased to announce their engagement and that they are expecting a baby in the early summer."
Prior to his relationship with Symonds, the prime minister was married to a lawyer, Marina Wheeler, with whom he welcomed four children. The couple separated in September 2018.
