Itumeleng "Itu" Khune has taken 'Amakhosi for life' to heart. The 32-year-old shotstopper revealed on Twitter that he's not planning on joining another team.

Even though an prior injury left Khune sidelined for a while now, Khune is happy to be at the Chiefs.

After posting the photo on Twitter on Monday, a fan suggested he make switch to rival team, the Orlando Pirates.

Twitter user, @MaerroNkabanhle, commented on the pic:

"What about you join Pirates next season Mzansi's finest?"

Khune shut down the idea quickly, adding he will hang up his boots at the Chiefs.

"I'll retire at the Kaizer Chiefs," he responded.

Social media users applauded Khune's loyalty seeing as though he had not been getting any playtime since Daniel Akpeyi proved himself worthy to wear the number one jersey.

Meanwhile, in other news, reported earlier that Jackson Mthembu took to social media on Saturday to show support for the Orlando Pirates ahead of the Soweto derby and Floyd Shivambu has now used the post to poke fun at him.

The EFF deputy accused the ANC MP of being the reason why the Bucs suffered a 1-0 loss against the Kaizer Chiefs.

"This is why Orlando Pirates lost. Supported by Mjekejeke?" Shivambu commented and it left Mzansi laughing out loud.
