- AKA's verse in Rouge's new track has peeps thinking he's been thinking about Bonang
- Speaking of a lady who broke his heart, fans have a strong feeling he's talking about Bonang
- Not being the favourite in the love department at the moment, AKA's romantic life is a mystery
If a song is released and there has been no explanation from the artist as to the meaning behind the song, it tends to leave fans wondering. This could be said for the latest single 'One by One' from rapper Rouge featuring AKA. Fans can’t help wonder if AKA’s verse on the single is perhaps dedicated to Bonang.
When one listens to the words of the verse AKA sings, it tends to be a little too personal. With AKA been headline news for his romantic affairs, we can always tell the story through his lyrics. It would seem that AKA is expressing his feelings in One By One.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the lyrics are no guessing game, it is obvious that it is regarding someone that broke his heart and is desperately wanting that person back in his life.
Looking at the bigger picture, the lyrics seem to fit the description of Bonang, but we will only know for sure if AKA comes out and gives confirmation of that. The relationship AKA and Bonang had, was amazing and was envied by many.
Unfortunately, the couple separated after two years. The separation was not a pleasant one as AKA said he had suspicions that Bonang bewitched him with stones. After all the two have gone through, AKA has kept Bonang’s picture on his social media accounts.
AKA tried to rekindle the relationship with the mother of his child, DJ Zinhle. He did, however, declare himself single last month. The talk about AKA and model Nicole Nyaba was never admitted or denied by AKA. Then there was the unknown woman AKA was seen with at the beginning of the year, so now fans are totally confused as to who exactly AKA is pouring his heart out to.
In other Rouge and AKA news, during a recent online Q & A, Rouge also revealed who her favourite Mzansi rapper was – AKA.
Replying to a fan's comment about her new track with AKA, Rouge expressed how working with AKA means more to her than just making music and that the track they have created is a pure classic, “not just a rap song”.
