Julius Malema turned 39 on Tuesday and the EFF leader celebrated his birthday with his family and comrades and even paid a visit to a day care centre.

When it comes to his birthday, Juju didn't want anything over the top. The EFF leader had his pre-birthday celebrations at his party's headquarters.

The EFF posted snaps of a cake and champagne event on Monday as they wished their CIC a happy birthday.

On his actual birthday, Juju spent the day with his family at the Entokozweni Day Care Centre in Orange Farm, Johannesburg.

The EFF renovated the day care centre after the government failed to give it any funding for over three decades.

The EFF posted snaps of Juju and his family at the centre and captioned the posts:

"Today, the CIC Julius Malema marked his birthday by highlighting the plight of early childhood development centres in black communities which suffer developmental neglect from both the state and other institutions."

Meanwhile, while Juju is celebrating his birthday, Herman Mashaba and his wifey are celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary.

Herman Mashaba gave South Africans the feels with his romantic message to his wifey on their 38th anniversary. The former mayor of Johannesburg said he would not be the successful man he is today without Connie.

"I owe so much to you. I would never have been the man I am today, without your love and support. Here's to many more years together as we build the South Africa of our dreams," part of his post read.
