Unathi Nkayi brought fire to Kaya FM yesterday when she made her debut on the widely-loved Mzansi radio station.
She left Metro FM in what was described as a 'painful exit' about which Unathi opened up about in Behind The Story.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Unathi absolutely rocked her first day at Kaya FM – no one expected anything less, she’s a queen.
Rocking up to the radio station in a Maserati, driven by a chauffeur, Unathi made an entrance worthy of the queen that she is.
Fellow Khaya FM presenters Thabiso Sikwane and David O'Sullivan welcomed Unathi with open arms and Minnie Dlamini even popped in to wish her well on her new journey. The moment was caught on camera and was hella sweet.
Unathi is extremely excited for this new adventure and feels very blessed to be a part of the Khaya FM family.
It was a moment that Unathi will hold dear to her heart for many years to come.
In other news, Unathi plans on using her Khaya FM post to help up-and-coming artists.
Unathi knows what it is like to be starting out and chancing your dream. She too was once at the bottom and now does everything she can to open doors for others.
Taking to social media, Unathi announced that she would be using her platform on Kaya FM to promote artists from all over the world, not only Mzansi, as the radio station can be listened to from anywhere in the world.
