Singer Lady Zamar opened a case of rape against Sjava in November.
The news became public this week.
Now, Sjava is feeling the effects as he begins to lose gigs.
The organisers of the festival announced, via a tweet, that Sjava had been taken off the roster.
The tweet stated, “PLEASE NOTE: Due to the seriousness of the allegations levelled against Sjava, the Management of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival has withdrawn Sjava’s performance from the CTIJF 2020 line-up.”
The festival is on 27 and 28 March at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Sjava has denied the rape and abuse allegations levelled against him by his ex-girlfriend, Lady Zamar.

It is yet not clear when the date of the court case will be or if the case will even make it that far.
