- New episodes of Judge Judy will no longer be on our screens as Judy Sheindlin and CBS have decided to part ways after 25 years
- It's not all sad news for Judy Sheindlin lovers and she will be starting a new show called Judy Justice
- Sheindlin told Ellen DeGerneres that she is not tired and will continue to bring justice on our TV screens
The judge that everyone loves to hate Judge Judy is sadly coming to an end after 25 season.
The 77-year-old straight-talker revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that her old show may be ending but she is starting a new chapter with another channel for her brand-new show, Judy Justice.
Judy Sheindlin said she has had a 25-year-long marriage with CBS and it's been successful, and next year would have been their 'silver anniversary'.
"And CBS sort of felt, I think, they wanted to optimally utilise the repeats of my programme, because now they have 25 years of reruns; so what they decided to do was to sell a couple of years' worth of reruns.
"But I'm not tired, so 'Judy Justice' will be coming out a year later," she told Ellen.
According to Judy, viewers can catch up on old episodes of Judge Judy while they wait for her new show to arrive.
The witty judge has presided over more than 10,000 episodes and the shows pulled in around 10 million viewers at a time.
