Genius schoolboy shows off video of robot he crafted out of wood

When it comes to impressive innovations, Africans never fail to impress. Currently trending online is a video of secondary school boy whose creation has left many people in awe.

Briefly.co.za recently came across a video shared to an Instagram page of @Ebalsblog of the young boy. In the video, the yet-to-be-identified kid is seen showing off his robot made out of wood.

The robot, which is about 25cm tall, is seen moving about in a human-like manner; one step at a time. The young man follows behind, surrounded by his classmates who are equally impressed by his invention.

Meanwhile, a young man who dreams of working for SVB has gone viral on Mzansi social media after photos were posted online showing his self-made security guard uniform.

The young man made the entire uniform and weapons using only cardboard boxes and it got the attention of thousands of South Africans as well as SVB South Africa, a security company.
