Water is unarguably one of the most accessible natural resources in the world. For this reason, it becomes a matter of utter surprise to learn that some can be sold for as much as almost a million bucks.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the boujee 'liquid gold', which is known as Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani, reportedly sells for as much as $60k (about R962k) for a 750ml bottle.
According to a report by inabottle.it, the luxury water is sourced from natural springs in France and Fiji and it comes in a container that screams luxury. The bottle of the water is made from pure 24-carat gold.
The review of the product notes that the water is not bland and similar to what one may find in every other bottled water packs in malls or supermarkets. The Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani water is sprinkled with pure gold flakes to increase its alkalinity. These gold flakes are edible and not poisonous as one may think.
