Kagiso took to Twitter to share good news.
“Daddy’s pride and joy, Tshimollo yaBotshelo Modupe. May God’s light continue to shine through you. I’m so proud of you, congratulations on your Best Actress Nomination at the @IdyFest. Go Show the world what we’re made of.”
When the film first came out Briefly.co.za reported that it received a great welcome and dominated the box office. The actor is overjoyed that Mzansi liked it so much and compared the feeling to that of finally asking out the girl you like and getting a 'yes'.
Briefly.co.za learned that this is Tshimollo's first acting job and she is already doing wonders, the film was also produced by her dad Kagiso which makes this nomination a family win.
The film is a beautiful story of how a young man has to take matters into his own hands after her mother separated them.
