"So just saw this guy pushing the ice cream vendor up the hill. Doing his good deed with a smile on his face. This is what makes South Africans a great loving nation. Warmed my heart. Every loving act no matter how small can change the world."
Take a look at his post below:
South Africans were in awe of the man's kindness and they sang his praises online.
Mari Lee commented:
"That's just how we roll. A little support for a brother."

"We post because we all need love and peace in this beautiful country of ours."

"It's good to be your brother's keeper. I love it."
Saretta Louw added:
"We have a saying in Afrkaans: 'Help 'n bietjie daar' - which translates to: give a little helping hand. How thankful we can be that by giving just a helping hand we can make life so much easier for others and bind us together as a caring nation."
Briefly.co.za previously reported on a similar story. After a waste-picker’s trolley broke, he had difficulty pushing it up a steep sloped road in Randburg. Seeing him struggle, a driver passing by stopped and helped him out.
The driver had a small car so he helped the waste-picker by slowing pushing the trolley up the steep Golf Terrace Road with his car. A lady witnessed the driver and the waste-picker's interaction and recorded it to share on social media.
