- Cassper Nyovest expressed his unhappiness with South Africa giving 800 000 masks to Italy
- As panic about the coronavirus spreads, so does worry that the country won't be able to deal with the issue
- However, giving away the masks is not as serious, and more are being made to meet demand
Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter to complain about South Africa's decision to export about 800 000 masks to Italy.
This is to help the country deal with the coronavirus and peeps don't like that our stock is being handed out.
Cassper is demanding that 'our masks' be returned.
This comes after the first coronavirus case in South Africa has been confirmed. The 38-year-old father of two from KZN is reportedly feeling better, but people are still wary.
The virus spreads fast and can cause death.
Cassper was joined by Lerato Kganyago, who also isn't happy that SA's supplies are going to other countries.
However, it should be noted that wearing a mask does not prevent people from getting the virus. It does help those who are already sick to not spread it to others.
In this case, the masks are better off helping contain the virus than prevent it.
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported that musician Blaklez cautioned Shimza to not help the spread of fake news.
Shimza made a joke about the first coronavirus case in Zimbabwe, and this ticked off peeps to no end.
The DJ probably didn't mean anything by it but people felt he was being insensitive.
