Loyal Sjava fans have come out guns blazing to show him support and defend him as he battles a rape charge levelled against him by musician and former girlfriend, Lady Zamar.
Over the weekend the hashtag #JusticeForSjava was trending on Twitter and most users were questioning whether Lady Zamar's allegations had any truth to them.
Briefly.co.za recently reported that in November Sjava took to Twitter to rebuke Lady Zamar’s allegations, calling them false. Sjava said he would be pursuing the matter through legal channels moving forward.
A music promoter who has worked with Lady Zamar questioned among other things why she was so comfortable to be around her alleged rapist to an extent of requesting to perform after him in concerts as well as have a dressing room next to his.

This wouldn't be the first time fans have been sceptical, Briefly.co.za recently reported that after the news broke, social media streets were chaotic. There are peeps who stand behind and support Zamar, and others think she's just a jealous ex trying to ruin Sjava's reputation.
Briefly.co.za learned that a voice clip was shared by Twitter user @AdvoVBarryRoux, in which Sjava and Zamar are arguing about the lack of communication in their relationship. In the clip, Lady Zamar is heard saying repeatedly that all she wants is attention from her then-boyfriend Sjava.
The clip has added fuel to the fire as Sjava fans believe the abuse and rape allegations could be another way for the musician to seek attention.
Here are some of the tweets under the hashtag:
@JustlookP: #ladyzamar she's jealous of @Sjava_atm success...#Justiceforsjava
@Cde_Masonwabe: We live in a very sexist world. GBV has proven to be nothing but a war. #MenvWomen, only the courts must determine who's guilty. We're not taking sides, we just want justice for both parties. Do not crucify any party, they will have their day in court #JusticeForSjava #ladyzamar
@NwanaVaida: #Justiceforsjava #IstandWithSjava As long he was never found guilty I stand with him... Inkabi
