The tattoo is said to consist of five circles that have been arranged in the shape of the Olympic rings and every child's palm print will go into those spaces.

"He has had five intertwined circles put on his back that look a bit like the Olympic rings. He wants to put a tattoo of a palm print into each circle,” a source told Daily Mirror.

Ed is known not only for his music but also for his tattoo collection which some have raised eyebrows.

It is reported that he has various tattoos for different meaning including achievements and also honouring family members.

The singer is married to childhood girlfriend Cherry Seaborn and recently celebrated a year in marriage.

They announced their engagement back in 2018 and are known to have been together since 2015.

The singer is said to have a strong desire to start a family and appears to favour a large household.
