When little Ariyonna was doing her hair, she looked into the camera of the phone that was going live on Instagram and said: "I'm so ugly."

Shabria aka Lil Wave Daddy, the Atlanta-based hairstylist who was styling Ariyonna's hair, told the four-year-old girl that she was beautiful and encouraged her to love herself.

Ariyonna began to cry but the stylist took the little girl into her arms, showered her with love and reminded her of how beautiful she is.

One of the celebrities who reacted to the video was American actress Viola Davis, who said blacks are fighting hundreds of years of brutal conditioning to being considered inferior.

She said:

"We are fighting hundreds of years of brutal conditioning of being considered less than. It is sprinkled in our language, behavior, laws, music...etc.. and trickles down to our youth.
"I'm speaking LIFE into Ariyonna. From a sista (sic) who looks a lot like you....you were born worthy therefore you were born beautiful!"

Another American actress Jada Pinkett Smith also reacted to the video, which she said made her cry.

Davis said: "Kudos to this beautiful woman for loving on this beautiful child! We gotta love on each other! This made my heart sing."
