Bi Phakathi has built a reputation for being one of the most generous men in Mzansi.

The popular philanthropist often helps those in need and shares his exploits via social media to inspire others.

On Monday, Phakathi shared another humbling experience when he came across a visually impaired man, who performs on the streets to make ends meet.

The video shows how Phakathi and the elderly man strike up a lovely conversation and they proceed to have breakfast together.

As if the hearty meal was not enough, Phakathi surprises the grateful madala with a trip to a retail store to purchase a new pair of shoes.

After asking the shop assistant to select a shoe of top quality, Phakathi blesses the man with a stylish pair.

A heartwarming moment then plays out when Phakathi hands the man R400 in cash - the madala's reaction is truly priceless.

After sharing the video via Facebook, it's been viewed more than 340 000 times.
