A family was travelling to Newcastle when disaster struck on the Utrecht road.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and it nearly overturned, but then crashed just off the road.
Although they avoided serious injuries, the children were in a state of panic and they needed urgent assistance.

While many other motorists passed them by without stopping, two selfless and caring young men took initiative.
They calmed the family members down and quickly changed one of the tyres after pushing the vehicle to a safer place.
Through their efforts, the family of six were able to reach the next best spot in Utrecht and the father could arrange further assistance through his insurance company.
Sherina Paul expressed her gratitude to the two men via the #ImStaying Facebook group and Briefly.co.za noted that the post went viral.
