Online streaming service Deezer released their 2019 most-streamed list in the spirit of International Women’s Day and our very own Ami Faku took the number one spot for most-streamed SA female artist.
Ami comes from the Eastern Cape and is one of Mzansi’s most angelic voices of modern Afro-soul.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Ami taking the number one Deezer 2019 most-streamed spot just shows how incredible her debut album, IMALI, is.
The incredible news came out just in time as Ami is about to launch her Sincerely Yours project where she will be performing her debut album IMALI with a full band, live.

Sincerely Yours is a Vth Agency production in association with Akum Agency and Untitled Basement. There are two shows, which are set to take place on Thursday, 12 March and Friday, 13 March at Untitled Basement in Braamfontein.
Tickets for Friday’s shows are officially sold out and Ami and her team could not be more grateful for the insane support.
In other news, Ami Faku was super-excited to be a part of fellow singer, Mthunzi's, latest project. They collaborated on a song titled Uyathandeka.
Ami Faku revealed that she features on Mthuzi's latest album, Selimathunzi. They perform a song together called Uyathandeka. Ami posted about the collaboration on her Instagram page.
