The Ranch Hotel: An inside look into Limpopo’s ‘coronavirus resort’

Briefly.co.za recently reported that the South African government will repatriate citizens living in China at a cost of R25 million.

The aircraft was prepared, while military and medical personnel were ready as well.

It has now emerged that the group of 122 people travelling from China will be accommodated at the Ranch Hotel in Limpopo.

The group will be quarantined at the plush resort for a period of 21 days, but none are showing any signs of having contracted the virus.

Briefly.co.za came across the below video which showcases some of the hotel's fabulous amenities.

Guests can be treated to the luxury spa and magnificent game drives. They'll also have the pleasure of the golf course and a choice of pools.

The South African reported that general manager Paul Shearer confirmed the hotel as the chosen destination for the quarantine.

Shearer said, “We will be a quarantine facility where the patients will be observed for 21 days. The Ranch, however, is not a facility for infected patients. Those of which [who have] the slightest possibility of having contracted the virus, will be accommodated elsewhere.”
