Life's not easy - it's filled with heartbreak, stress and obstacles. However, when you overcome whatever stands in your way, the sweet victory makes every struggle worthwhile.
One woman, Ingrid Schuller, prevailed despite the odds stacked against her. When the beautiful nurse was 12, her parents - who struggled with their own demons - passed away.
She took it upon herself to raise her siblings and she "prayed every single day" for better days. Even though she had to take care of her loved ones, Schuller was determined not to make the same mistakes her parents had and she became a nurse.
On Thursday, she gushed about winning the best nurse heart award on the #ImStaying Facebook page.
