AKA's fans are aware of his attitude towards haters - ignore them and they will go away.

For the most part, this works because AKA is doing his thing regardless of what people have to say.

Recently, though, the rapper thought he should show some appreciation for his 'haters' and thank them for making him want to be better than they say he is.

Taking to his Instagram account, AKA dedicated a post to those people who lurk on his social media profiles, searching for ways to diss him.

"Thank you for keeping me sharp for over 10 years, you miserable bastards."

You'd expect nothing less than this kind of cheeky and slightly arrogant sass from AKA.

Earlier, the muso also dedicated some time to his loyal fans to show them that he appreciates them as well.

Supa Mega stopped fans in their tracks to appreciate them and have them appreciate him.

“You’re about to take a moment out of your day and spend it on me. Maybe you haven’t even brushed your teeth yet. Thank you for your message. It makes me feel special. Now go have a great week you silly dog!”

While the post was not expected, it’s a refreshing change - it’s a yes from us!

In related news, AKA recently pulled up to a Western Cape venue decked out in R304 000 worth of some of the most enviable luxury brands.

He clearly has a taste for the finer things in life and when you hustle that had, we can't blame him for enjoying his success.

The rapper was spotted donning a R150 000 Rolex, a R50 000 Louis Vuitton bag and a R45 000 jacket. Wow!
