Collen Mashawana is a businessman who portrays everything that is right in the country. He uses his influence and business, Afribiz, to help the less fortunate.
On Saturday, Mashawana and his team met with a 70-year-old woman, Patience Bongiwe, who lives in a shack.
He revealed her two children are staying with neighbours because they can't all stay in her one-bedroom dwelling.
The gogo's living conditions touched Mashawana's heart and he vowed to build her a new house.
His post read:
"When visiting Oupa Letsolo in Edenpark, we were approached by 70-year-old gogo Patience Bongiwe who lives in similar conditions with the Oupa. Her two children are staying with neighbours since they can’t all stay with gogo in the one room shack. We visited gogo’s current dwelling and committed to handing over a new home to her in the next few weeks as well. May God be with Gogo and her family."
In another post, Mashawana shared a video and he captioned it:
"In less than four weeks, her life would have changed for the best."
Mashawana has opened his heart and wallet to many before Gogo Bongiwe. Briefly.co.za previously reported a couple months ago that the businessman made good on his promise to give another lady a house.
He was photographed giving 26-year-old Tebogo Makwala, was dubbed the poorest in the community, the keys to her new home.
