At 101 years of age, it is indeed a notable feat and social media users saluted the elderly woman for her longevity.
Dee Kay Dee took to the #ImStaying Facebook group on Monday to share the wonderful news.

Her touching post epitomised what her gogo means to her:
"Morning family, please help me to wish my grandmother a happiest birthday, she's turning 101 today..May the Almighty be with her and grant her with many more years, we still need her."
