Riky Rick was pulled into South Africa’s humorous approach to the coronavirus outbreak and he didn’t find it funny.
The coronavirus has hit the world hard and sent the entire globe into a state of panic, however, in true Mzansi style, we’ve turned it into a joke.
Briefly.co.za learnt that a flamboyant outfit Riky Rick once wore back in 2018 is what got him caught in the hysteria.
Riky Rick is known for his lit fashion sense, but best believe none of his outfit choices were made based on a pending pandemic.
Back in 2018, Riky Rick wore an outfit to the South African Music Awards that was accessorised with a bright red full-face mask and yellow hat – people decided, based on this outfit, that Riky Rick knew the virus was coming.
The picture of Riky Rick’s outfit has gone viral once again thanks to Covid-19, and people have been ripping over it.
Riky Rick, on the other hand, did not find the claims all that amusing. He shared the snap on social media and his reaction said it all.
In other news, Mzansi musician Thandiswa Mazwai cannot deal with the fact that shelves are empty because of panic buying.
Thandiswa has gone as far as labelling panic buying a “crime”, she feels that over-buying out of panic is totally unnecessary and unfair to those who are unable to do the same.
