Kind woman pays for nurses’ lunch as reward for battling Covid-19

‎Backlash INguni Nhlangulela‎ took to Facebook to detail the amazing encounter he had with an absolute stranger.

He and another nurse went out to grab some lunch and were chatting in the queue.

To their delight, the lady standing in front of them in the queue generously decided to pay for their meals.

Nhlangulela instinctively told her: "I'm staying," and they both laughed.

His reference was to the groundbreaking Facebook group that has become such a smash hit with South Africans.

It was therefore only fitting that he shared details of the experience via the same group.

The nurse explained that the woman felt that they deserved a treat, especially in light of the added demands due to the Covid-19 threat.

Briefly.co.za noted that the post went viral, as it attracted hundreds of positive comments.
